Sergei Sergejewitsch Bernazki ( Russian Сергей Сергеевич Бернацкий ; born March 1, 1982 in Voskressensk , Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian ice hockey player who was most recently under contract with HK Sochi from the Continental Hockey League .

Career

Sergei Bernazki began his career as a hockey player with Chimik Voskressensk , for whose second team he was active in the third-class Pervaya League in the 1999/2000 season . Then the defender played for two years for the professional team of HK CSKA Moscow in the Wysschaja Liga , the second Russian division. With the CSKA he rose in the 2001/02 season in the super league . Then the team reunited with the original HK CSKA Moscow and Bernazki moved within the league to city neighbor Krylja Sowetow Moscow . With his new club he was relegated in his rookie year in the top Russian league, but already played only six times during the season for Krylja Sowetow, while he spent the rest of the season at the second division Neftjanik Almetyevsk . In the following years he was a regular with Krylya Sovetov in the second division and reached in the 2005/06 season with his team the promotion to the super league.

In the second attempt, Bernazki prevailed in the super league and prepared five goals in 34 games for Krylya Sovetov Moscow in the 2006/07 season . At the end of the season, the team had to accept the relegation and the Russian moved to Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk within the Super League .

From the 2008/09 season he was on the ice for Neftechimik in the newly founded Continental Hockey League , before moving to HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk in 2011 together with Renat Mamaschew .
