Sergio Rochet , full name Sergio Rochet Álvarez , (born March 23, 1993 in Nueva Palmira ) is a Uruguayan football goalkeeper .
Career
society
The 1.90 meter tall goalkeeper Rochet was in the squad of the first division club Danubio FC in the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons . In the Primera División , however, he was not used. Rochet left the Montevideans after winning the championship in the 2013/14 season and moved to AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands in July 2014 . In the 2014/15 season he was used there eight times in the Eredivisie and once in the KNVB Cup . His club finished 3rd in the Eredivisie at the end of the season and qualified for the Europa League . During the following 2015/16 season he played 23 times in the league, twice in the cup and five times in the Europa League. In the 2016/17 season he played 20 first division games, ten Europa League games and two cup encounters.
In the 2017/18 summer transfer period, he moved to the Turkish first division club Sivasspor and moved on to Club Nacional after two seasons .
National team
Rochet was a member of the Uruguayan U-20 national team . At the beginning of July 2012 he was called up to a training course for the U-20s by his coach Juan Verzeri .
