Pedra da Escrita

On the road from Termas de São Pedro do Sul to Santa Cruz da Trapa near Serrazes in the forest is the Pedra da Escrita , a massive granite block about 2.50 m high, the east-facing surface of which is decorated with incised concentric circles and right-angled hatching . According to stylistic criteria, this art is dated to the late Bronze Age.
