Sevastianos Rossolatos ( Greek Σεβαστιανός Ροσσολάτος ; born June 19, 1944 in Ermoupoli , Greece ) is Roman Catholic Archbishop of Athens and Apostolic Administrator of the Archdiocese of Rhodes .

Life

Sevastianos Rossolatos received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Syros on July 21, 1968 .

On August 12, 2014, Pope Francis appointed him Roman Catholic Archbishop of Athens and Apostolic Administrator of Rhodes. The episcopal ordination received his his predecessor Nikolaos Foskolos on 25 October of that year; Co-consecrators were the bishop emeritus of Syros and Santorini , Frangiskos Papamanolis , and the archbishop of Naxos, Andros, Tinos and Mykonos , Nikolaos Printesis .
