The Sex de Marinda is 2906 m above sea level. M. high mountain in the Val d'Anniviers in the canton of Valais . It rises above the resort of Grimentz . The name sex comes from the Latin word saxum, which means something like rock.
At its eastern foot lies the Lac de Moiry reservoir . To the west rises the 3254 m above sea level. M. high Sasseneire . The Lona plateau with Lac de Lona extends northeast .
Between the Sex de Marinda and Sasseneire, the small road from Lac de Moiry, popular with mountain bikers, leads over 2792 m above sea level. M. high Basset de Lona on the Lona plateau.
