The Sasseneire is a 3254 m above sea level. M. high mountain in the Swiss canton of Valais .

It lies between the two valleys Val d'Anniviers with the valley town of Grimentz and the Val d'Hérens with the valley town of Evolène .
Hiking trails
At the foot of the north face, a mule track leads over the Pas de Lona past the Lac de Lona . On the south side via the Col de Torrent national hiking route no. 6 Alpine Passes Trail from SwitzerlandMobility . On April 1, 1998, the “ Val de Réchy - Sasseneire” property was included in the “ Federal Inventory of Landscapes and Natural Monuments of National Importance ” (BLN - Property 1715).
