Jōhei
Jōhei ( Japanese 承平 , also Shōhei) is a Japanese era ( Nengō ) from May 931 to June 938 according to the Gregorian calendar . The previous era name is Enchō , the following era is called Tengyō . The era falls during the reign of Emperor ( Tennō ) Suzaku .
The first day of the Jōhei era corresponds to May 16, 931, the last day was June 21, 938. The Jōhei era lasted eight years or 2909 days.
