Tengyō
Tengyō ( Japanese 天 慶 , also Tenkyō or Tenkei) is a Japanese era ( Nengō ) from June 938 to May 947 according to the Gregorian calendar . The previous era name is Jōhei , the following era is called Tenryaku . The era falls during the reign of the emperors ( Tennō ) Suzaku and Murakami .
The first day of the Tengyō era corresponds to June 22, 938, the last day was May 14, 947. The Tengyō era lasted ten years or 3249 days.
