Tenryaku

Tenryaku ( Japanese 天 暦 , also Tenkyō or Tenkei) is a Japanese era ( Nengō ) from May 947 to November 957 according to the Gregorian calendar . The previous era name is Tengyō , the following era is called Tentoku . The era falls during the reign of Emperor ( Tennō ) Murakami .

The first day of the Tenryaku era corresponds to May 15, 947, the last day was November 10, 957. The Tenryaku era lasted eleven years or 3833 days.
