Shūhei Akasaki ( Japanese 赤 﨑 秀 平 , Akasaki Shūhei ; born September 1, 1991 in Ichiki-Kushikino , Kagoshima Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Shūhei Akasaki learned to play football on the school team at East Saga High School and on the university team at Tsukuba University . From April 2013 to December 2013 he was loaned from the university to the first division club Kashima Antlers . In 2014 he was signed by the Antlers. Kashima Antlers, a club from Kashima , played in the country's highest league, the J1 League . With the Antlers he became Japanese soccer champion in 2016. In the same year he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . From March 2017 to January 2018 he was loaned to Suita to join league competitor Gamba Osaka . For Gamba, he completed 14 first division games. 2018 he moved to also in the first division playing Kawasaki Frontale by Kawasaki . In the same year he won the championship with Kawasaki. Nagoya Grampus , a club from Nagoya , loaned out into the 2019 season. He was on the pitch for Nagoya 21 times. In 2020 he left Nagoya and joined Vegalta Sendai from Sendai .
