Shabir Isoufi (born March 9, 1992 in Kandahar , Afghanistan ) is a Dutch- Afghan football player .

Career

Club career

The attacking midfielder was under contract with Feyenoord Rotterdam in the 2011/12 season , but had been on loan to second division club FC Dordrecht since December 2011 , for whom he scored a goal in ten Eerste Divisie games. Before moving to Feyenoord, he was active at local rivals Excelsior in Rotterdam; here he was used four times in the Eredivisie . Since 2014 he has only been active in the amateur field, most recently with the fifth division club SC Feyenoord .

National team

Netherlands

He played a total of 17 international matches for the youth teams of the Netherlands, including the 1: 2 final defeat at the U-17 European Championship in 2009 against Germany .

Afghan national team

Isoufi made his debut for the Afghan national team on May 29, 2015 , scoring a goal. He completed all of his seven international matches that year.
