Shaibu Yakubu (born November 11, 1986 in Obuasi ) is a Ghanaian soccer player .
From 2001 Yakubu played for Goldfields Obuasi . In 2007 he was part of the All-Star Team in Ghana. In 2008 he moved to Hacettepe SK in Ankara , Turkey, for a year , before moving to Kartalspor in Istanbul in 2009 . After a year at Kartalspor in which he was one of the most successful players of the 2009/10 second division season with 14 goals in 27 , he left Turkey and played in turn for OFI Crete and Enosis Neon Paralimni .
In the summer of 2013, Yakubu returned to Turkey and hired the second division club 1461 Trabzon .
