Shari Bossuyt (born September 5, 2000 in Kortrijk ) is a Belgian cyclist who is active on track and road .

Athletic career

In 2015 and 2016 Shari Bossuyt won several titles as Belgian youth champion on the track and in the two years the title in the individual time trial on the road. In 2017 she became Belgian champion of junior women in the omnium and individual time trial. She started at the European Road Championships , finished eighth in the individual time trial and 14th in the road race. At the World Road Championships in the same year she was also eighth in the individual time trial. At the junior track world championships she was third in the points race; At the Junior European Championships she won three silver medals, in the scratch , omnium and elimination stages . In 2018 she won a stage on the road and the points classification of the Omloop van Borsele (juniors) as well as both individual titles of the juniors on the road. In the following year she won bronze at the U23 European championships in the points race.

Also in 2019, Shari Bossuyt became Belgian champion in the omnium of the elite.
