Shawn Toovey
Shawn Toovey (born March 1, 1983 in Lincoln , Nebraska ) is an American film actor .
Life
Shawn Toovey, whose parents work as a trucker , has been in front of the camera in small television films since 1991 , starring Lesley Ann Warren , Brian Dennehy , Marcia Gay Harden and Chris Cooper as film partners. His most famous role was that of Brian Cooper in the television series Dr. Quinn - a passionate doctor whom he embodied from 1993 to 1998 and in two specials, 1999 and 2001. Toovey has received the Young Artist Award four times and has been nominated for the award three more times.
From August 2001 to May 2005 Toovey was a student at the University of Nebraska , where he received his bachelor's degree in journalism and film studies .
He has been married to his wife Marianne since 2007; they lived in both Florida and California . Their daughter was born in February 2009.
Today (as of March 2016) Toovey is Director of Guest Experience at the Children's Museum in Omaha , Nebraska.
