Sheetal Sheth
Sheetal Sheth (born June 24, 1976 in Phillipsburg , New Jersey ) is an American actress .
Life and accomplishments
Sheth studied acting at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and during this time took part in a theater workshop in Amsterdam . She made her debut in a larger role in the drama ABCD (1999), which received a special award from the WorldFest Houston festival in 2000 . She also took on a bigger role in the comedy American Chai (2001), which won the 2001 Audience Award at the Slamdance Film Festival .
In the comedy Indian Cowboy (2004) Sheth played one of the two main roles. In the film drama Dancing in Twilight (2005), she was seen in a larger role alongside Mimi Rogers . In the film drama The Hidden World (2007) she took on one of the two leading roles alongside Lisa Ray . She played a woman who had a lesbian relationship in South Africa during apartheid . Both actresses again portray a lesbian couple in the drama I Can't Think Straight .
