Shenzhou 11 is the name of a manned space flight in the People's Republic of China . The take-off took place on October 16, 2016 23:34 UTC, the landing on November 18, 2016.

The crew consisted of two Taikonauts , the third place of the Shenzhou spaceship remained unoccupied. The crew members were:
- Jing Haipeng , commander, third space flight
- Chen Dong , first space flight
The names of the members of the substitute team have not been published.
Mission history
After two days of flight time, Shenzhou 11 docked with Tiangong 2 on October 18 , 2016, which has been orbiting the earth since September 15, 2016.
The two Taikonauts stayed on board the space laboratory for 30 days and performed both scientific experiments and maintenance work. The experiments are considered an important prerequisite for the construction of a permanent Chinese space station, which should be completed around 2022.
The landing took place on November 18, 2016.
