Shirley Bloomer

Shirley Bloomer Brasher (born June 13, 1934 in Grimsby , England ) is a former British tennis player .

1957 defeated in the final of the French tennis championships the US-American Dorothy Knode in two sets of 6: 1 and 6: 3rd The doubles competition could in that year with Darlene Hard against the Mexican Yola Ramírez and the Frenchwoman Rosie Reyes in three sets 7: 5, 4: win five after already in 1955 with her compatriot: 6 and 7 Patricia Ward against the Americans Beverly Baker Fleitz and Darlene Hard had to give up in three sets with 5: 7, 8: 6 and 11:13 in a competitive game.
