The Shishman Peak (English; Bulgarian връх Шишман wrach Schischman ) is a more than 800 m high and rounded mountain on the Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . On the eastern foothills of Levski Ridge in the Tangra Mountains, it rises west of Devin Saddle , 0.9 km northeast of Plovdiv Peak , 1.9 km west of Ruse Peak and 3.5 km south-southwest of Rila Point . The Iskar Glacier and the Bruix Cove are north-northeast, the Magura Glacier south of it.
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named the mountain in 2004 after Iwan Schischman (≈1350–1395), from 1371 Tsar of Bulgaria in Veliko Tarnowo .
