Shivpal Singh (born July 6, 1995 in Varanasi , Uttar Pradesh ) is an Indian athlete who specializes in javelin throwing.

Athletic career

Shivpal Singh gained his first international experience at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta , where he finished eighth with 74.11 m. The following year he won the silver medal behind the Taiwanese Cheng Chao-tsun at the Asian Championships with a new personal best of 86.23 m . He also qualified for the World Championships there in October, where he did not reach the final with 78.97 m . Then he won with a width of 83.33 m at the World Military Games in Wuhan .
