Shuhei Hoshino ( Japanese 星野 秀 平 , Hoshino Shuhei ; born December 19, 1995 in Saitama Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Shuhei Hoshino learned to play football in the team of the Sakado Diplomats , the school team of the RKU Kashiwa High School and in the university team of the Ryūtsū Keizai University . He signed his first contract with Albirex Niigata (Singapore) in 2018 . The club, which played in the first division of Singapore , the S. League , is an offshoot of the Japanese second division club Albirex Niigata . In the 2018 season he became champions with Niigata. In 23 games he scored 19 goals and became the league's top scorer . After a year he moved to South Korea . Here he signed a contract with Busan Transportation Corporation FC . The football franchise from Busan played in the third division of the country, the Korea National League . After 12 games and one goal, he returned to Singapore in 2020. Here he joined the first division club Balestier Khalsa .
