Shyla Stylez (real life Amanda Friedland ; born September 23, 1982 in Armstrong , British Columbia ; † November 9, 2017 there ) was a Canadian porn actress . In 2016 she was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame .

Life

Shyla Stylez was from a small town in British Columbia , Canada . After high school, she moved to Vancouver , where she posed nude for various websites. She started working as a stripper at the age of 18 . In August 2000, Shyla Stylez moved to Los Angeles and began her career as a porn actress with Anabolic Productions . In 2002 she underwent two operations to have her breasts enlarged with implants .

Their preferred genre for porn films was Gonzo , such as Flesh Hunter . But she also acted in some porn movies. At times Shyla Stylez worked exclusively for Jill Kelly Productions (2002-2005). It can also be seen in the My Plaything interactive DVD series .

Shyla Stylez was married to Bob Friedland, the executive director of Jill Kelly Productions . The marriage was divorced in 2003.

Stylez was involved in a scandal with former Orange County Assistant Sheriff George Jaramillo, who was reported to have had multiple sexual encounters with her.

In March 2012 she announced that she would only produce for her own website until further notice and would otherwise withdraw from the business.

Stylez died in November 2017 at the age of 35 for reasons unknown.
