Sibylla Vričić Hausmann (born November 4, 1979 in Wolfsburg ) is a German writer.

Life

After graduating from high school Julianum in Helmstedt , Hausmann studied modern German literature , comparative literature , philosophy and linguistics at the Westphalian Wilhelms University of Münster and the Free University of Berlin . She completed her studies in 2006 with a thesis on the subject of eating in contemporary poetry . She is also a graduate of the German Literature Institute in Leipzig . From 2009 to 2011 she was a scholarship holder at the Young Theater Mostar . In addition to her literary work in poetry, prose and essay, she is a lecturer in creative writing and works as a lecturer. Together with Carl-Christian Elze and Christian Kreis , she never runs the reading series . She lives in Leipzig.
