Claas Hoffmann

Claas Hoffmann (born September 12, 1967 in Stade ) is a German author .

Life

According to his own statements, after graduating from the Realschule Horneburg in 1984, he spent a year at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences for Graphics and Design. In 1990 he studied for a Foundation Year at Emerson College . In 1996 he completed an apprenticeship as a multimedia producer in Buxtehude . From 1999 to 2002 Hoffmann studied Visual Arts & Sculpture Course at Emerson College in England. From 2003 to 2006 he lived in various social groups , such as Damanhur or Tamera . From 2006 to 2009 he worked as an art therapist in the City Hospital Eisenhüttenstadt and in the Psychiatric Day Clinic in Beeskow .

From 2009-2010 he worked with the State Opera for Caritas with children. From 2010 onwards, Hoffmann worked as a teacher in the Lillabo Hus day care center in Berlin-Friedenau and in the Lichtpunkt school club in Berlin-Lichtenberg . In 2012 he worked as a creativity teacher at the BIP creativity elementary school Kaulsdorf Nord . In 2013 he trained as a hypnotherapist and in 2014 as a sound and music therapist. Since 2014 he has been working as a music therapist in the neuro-rehabilitation department at the Spandau Clinic .

Hoffmann is an art therapist in the IEK (German Institute for Relaxation Techniques and Communication Bildungsgesellschaft mbH).

Hoffmann now lives with his wife, their two children and his son in a blended family in Berlin.

As a singer, drummer and text writer, he appeared in several bands. Since 2003 he has been the singer, lyricist and composer of the songs of the band Time and Space Society and has performed with them at the Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig in recent years .
