Sie ist weg is a song by the German hip-hop group Die Fantastischen Vier . The song is the first single from their fourth studio album Lauschgift and was released on August 28, 1995.

She is away is about the feelings of an abandoned man at the end of a love affair. Hausmarke takes on the role of the abandoned, while Smudo raps from the perspective of a friend who wants to reassure him. The abandoned man tells of being alone and that he has hardly had any drive to live since he was single again. He wonders why these feelings plagued him and why he no longer feels like company, even though he should be ready to meet new women. He also struggles with himself and begins to recognize the mistakes he made in the relationship that ultimately led to the separation. Meanwhile, the friend tries to urge him to do more together again. But in the end, the abandoned man only comes to the conclusion that his girlfriend is gone for good and has "taken" him with her.

The song was produced by the two band members And.Ypsilon and Hausmarke . All four group members acted as authors. The music includes a sample of the song Soul Street by the British pop duo Jolley & Swain from 1985.
Music video
The music video that was shot for Sie ist weg was directed by German artist Ralf Schmerberg .
At the beginning, House Brand is alone in his dirty and untidy apartment in bed. Shortly afterwards he receives a visit from Smudo and a few friends who want to cheer him up. But he shows little interest in the joint activities and ultimately everyone leaves the apartment annoyed. In between scenes from the past relationship are repeatedly faded in, where he is with his girlfriend at a party, neglecting her or flirting with other women. Finally, there is a solid argument, at the end of which he throws her out of the shared apartment. At the end of the video, Hausmarke sets a fire in his apartment and uses it to ignite all the memories of his ex-girlfriend before he drives away in the car.
The video won the national award in the Music Video of the Year category at the 1996 Echo Awards . In addition, it was nominated at the MTV Video Music Awards 1996 in the MTV Europe category, but was subject to the video for Fastlove by George Michael .

The single cover shows a series of comic images of a woman who opens the emergency exit door of an aircraft labeled "Exit" and leaves it via the emergency slide. Sie ist weg entered the German charts at number 21 on September 11, 1995 and four weeks later reached the top of the chart, where it stayed for three weeks. Overall, the song stayed in the top 100 for 24 weeks, including eleven weeks in the top 10. It is still the group's only number one hit in Germany. It is also the first rap song by a German performer to reach the top of the chart . In the German annual charts in 1995, the single was ranked 15th. In Switzerland, the song reached position 2, while in Austria it was ranked 16th.
