Andreas Rieke (born November 17, 1967 in Stuttgart ), better known under the pseudonym And.Y or And.Ypsilon (pronounced Andi Ypsilon) is a member of the music group Die Fantastischen Vier . He is a producer and sound tinkerer, both for his band and for other artists.

Live and act

His predilection for electronic music also gives him the job of a computer specialist in the back of the stage. After graduating from the Immanuel-Kant-Gymnasium Leinfelden-Echterdingen , he began studying technical computer science at the Esslingen University of Applied Sciences . But after five semesters he dropped out because of his music career.

In addition to working with the Fantastischen Vier, Andreas Rieke also works as a producer for other artists. He also produced Thomas D.'s second solo album, Lessons in Humility, together with Ralf Goldkind . In 2003 he released the album Y-Files with electronic music. The single Test Tube Baby was released from the album . Furthermore, Rieke has been a lecturer at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts since 2008, where he teaches the subject of producing .

Rieke was married for three years, but is now divorced and lives in Stuttgart , where he also owns a recording studio.

Rieke dubbed the penguin Rico in the German version of the Madagascar film series.
