David Hutzel from laut.de rated the album with three out of a possible five points. He thinks that “the focus is on the instrumental arrangements” and the Fantastischen Vier take a back seat. Due to the new instrumentation, the pieces played are often far removed from the studio versions, which is partly good and partly bad. He would also have liked the band to play more of their “classics” on the album.
