Live und direkt is an album by the German hip-hop group Die Fantastischen Vier from 1996 and redeemed an earlier announcement by the band to release a live album.
Origin and content
The album consists of a live CD and a studio CD. The live recordings ( Lauschgift -Tour 1996) were made in the Club Huxleys Neue Welt in Berlin (February 19, 1996), in the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen (February 22, 1996) and in the Wangen theater (June 1, 1996). In addition to previously unreleased recordings, the second CD contains remixes by Waxdoctor , Kenny 'Dope' Gonzales, Die Krupps , Aphex Twin and Guru by Gang Starr . As a bonus for the buyer, the direct CD contains a data section with a screen saver, an interactive press section and three videos of the band.
Two singles were released from the album. Raus was published in 1996 and reached number 58 in Germany and number 38 in Austria. The single (1997) Der Picnicker reached number 42. The album itself reached number 17 in the German charts and number 30 in Switzerland .
