Record is the ninth regular studio album by Fantastischen Vier . It was released on October 24, 2014, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the band.
Style and reception
While the album follows the usual style of the Fantastischen Vier almost seamlessly, musically it stands out very strongly. Rekord is not a classic hip-hop album, but a stylistic all-round blow and is influenced by several musical styles. In addition to pop and jam, this time also includes dubstep , electro and R'n'B .
For the anniversary track 25 , Don Snow aka Jonn Savannah sang his hit 25 Years with slightly different lyrics. Along with Miss Platnum was Disco added.
One week after its release, the album reached number 1 in the German charts, was awarded gold and has sold over 200,000 times to date. The tracks 25 , Und los and single were released from the album as a single.
