Siegfried Alkan (born March 30, 1858 in Dillingen , Saarland , † December 24, 1941 in Mainz ) was a German composer of Jewish origin.

He was largely related to Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy , Fanny Hensel and Giacomo Meyerbeer .
