Siegfried Bauch

Siegfried Bauch (born October 3, 1934 in Crimmitschau ) was General Director of the Cottbus Textile Combine from 1973 to 1985 .

Life

The son of a cloth maker completed an apprenticeship as a woolen fabric maker and weaver in the VEB Crimmitschauer Volltuchfabriken as a master in 1951 . Until 1954 he studied at the engineering school for the textile industry in Forst and became a textile engineer . From 1954 to 1956, Bauch was a consultant in the branch management of an association of state-owned companies and from 1956/57 scientific assistant at the engineering school for the textile industry in Cottbus .

In 1956, Bauch joined the SED . From 1957 to 1959 he was department head in the VEB Ostdeutsche Tuchfabrik in Forst and from 1959 to 1963 he was deputy chairman of the district council and chairman of the district planning commission in Forst . From 1963 to 1965, Bauch was head of the textile-clothing-leather-glass industrial department and from 1965 to 1970 deputy chairman of the District Economic Council in Cottbus.

From 1970 to 1973, Bauch was Operations Director at VEB Forster Tuchfabriken, which belonged to the Cottbus textile combine. He completed a distance learning course at the Technical University in Dresden , which he graduated in 1967 as a graduate engineer and economist . In 1978, Bauch became a Dr. rer. oec. PhD . From 1973 to 1985 he was general director of VE Textilkombinat in Cottbus. In 1985, Bauch retired for health reasons.
