Siegfried Becher (born February 28, 1806 in Plan , Bohemia , † March 4, 1873 in Vienna ) was a statistician and economist.

Siegfried Becher studied in Prague and Vienna, entered state services there in 1831, became a professor at the polytechnic institute in 1835 and also worked for the tobacco and stamp administration, then for the highest postal administration.
