Siegfried Müller (politician)
Siegfried Müller (born November 11, 1955 in Kitzingen ) is a German local politician and was Lord Mayor of Kitzingen from May 1, 2008 to April 30, 2020 .
Career
The savings bank economist has been active in local politics since 1990. He was a councilor in Kitzingen and a member of the district council of the Kitzingen district . He was commercial and industrial advisor to the city and parliamentary group leader of the Independent Social Voters' Group Kitzingen (UsW).
On March 16, 2008, he was elected Lord Mayor of the City of Kitzingen with 67.54 percent of the vote in the runoff election against CSU opponent Angelika Küspert. His successor in office has been Stefan Güntner ( CSU ) since May 1st, 2020 .
