Siegfried Maass
Siegfried Maaß (born October 6, 1936 in Magdeburg ) is a German writer .
Live and act
Siegfried Maaß grew up in Staßfurt , where he also attended school and completed an apprenticeship. After studying at a technical college in Halle (Saale) , he worked as a surveying technician in mining and land registry.
Between 1960 and 1964 he completed a distance learning course at the literature institute "Johannes R. Becher" and then worked as a dramaturge at the Salzlandtheater in Staßfurt. Siegfried Maaß has been a freelance writer since 1971 and has published 30 books.
He is married, has two children and has lived in Hecklingen in Saxony-Anhalt since 1996 .
From 2005 to 2010 he headed the writing competition of the “ Friedrich Bödecker Circle ”.
