Siegfried Sadtler

Siegfried Sadtler (born May 13, 1914 - March 14, 1983 ) was a German ministerial official .

After completing his legal doctorate at the University of Cologne in 1949, Sadtler became an assistant at the Federal Ministry of Transport . Later he worked as a ministerial advisor and from 1972 to 1982 as a ministerial director in the Federal Ministry of Defense , where he was head of the armaments department. From 1957 to 1975 he sat for the FDP on the city council of Bonn , was parliamentary group leader of the FDP and mayor.

From 1971 to 1977 Sadtler was a member of the Advisory Board of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation . In 1950 he was a member of the federal board of the German Association of Civil Servants .
