Siegfried Schalli

Siegfried Schalli (born October 21, 1961 in Villach ) is an Austrian politician (formerly TS ) and managing director. From March 2013 to April 2018 he was a member of the Carinthian state parliament .

Life

Siegfried Schalli studied business administration with a focus on marketing as well as small and medium-sized businesses at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and the University of Toronto . Between 1989 and 2013 he worked in the management of large international corporations. He worked at Unilever, Billa and Swarovski and was among other things assistant to Karl Wlaschek in the Billa Group. In December 2012, Schalli was presented as a lateral entrant for the 2013 state election for the Stronach Carinthia team, taking first place in the Villach constituency . After winning a direct mandate in this constituency, Schalli was sworn in as a member of the Carinthian state parliament on March 28, 2013. After the previous state party chairman Gerhard Köfer had been deposed in early October 2013 by Team Stronach Reasons Frank Stronach , Schalli von Stronach was nominated as the new state party chairman. Already on October 30, 2013, Schalli resigned from the Landtag Club of Team Stronach, which led to the loss of Team Stronach's club status in Carinthia. As reasons for his resignation, Schalli named a canceled examination of the party finances and personal accusations of a court hearing against him by Köfer 20 years ago. There was also an alleged affair between Köfer and Schalli's wife, which Köfer denied. Schalli subsequently announced that he would work as a free MP with the FPÖ. He is a member of the committee for finance, housing and communities, a member of the committee for hunting, animal welfare, nature, national and biosphere parks and a member of the committee for infrastructure, road construction and traffic law.
