Sielstetten is a northern part of the Bavarian municipality of Hörgertshausen in the Freising district .
history
The settlement history of the village goes back to the 7th or 8th century with the church patron St. Stephanus and the settlement movement through the Moosburg monastery to the northern borders of the Freising diocese . The place name can be derived from the place of Sigoldis. The first documentary mention took place relatively late in the year 1052, when a Liutpold de Sigihohestetten was mentioned in the Moosburg tradition codex. Until the place name Sielstetten prevailed in 1874, he had a wide variety of writing styles from Sigolstetten to Sichlstätten. The place belonged with 5 courtyards to the governorate Grafendorf and 7 courtyards to the governorate Schergenöd in the regional court district Moosburg and Landshut rent office . In the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria in 1818, the chairmanships were converted into the municipalities and Sielstetten became part of the Grafendorf municipality . In 1858 the people of Sielstetten wanted to move to the Margarethenried community , but were rejected by the ministry.
On May 1, 1978 the community Grafendorf was dissolved in the course of the regional reform and Sielstetten became a district of the community Hörgertshausen.
