Peterswahl is a church village in the municipality of Hörgertshausen in the Freising district ( Upper Bavaria ).
history
Peterswahl is first mentioned in a document in the year 779/80 in the traditions of the Hochstift Freising . The location is attributed to the presence of remnants of the local Gallo-Roman population ( Welsche ). The place was part of the Obmannschaft Enghausen in the regional court Moosburg and Rentamt Landshut . Since the community edict in 1818, Peterswahl was part of the political community of Enghausen . On May 1, 1978, the municipality of Enghausen was dissolved in the course of the regional reform; the area around Peterswahl became part of the Hörgertshausen community .

Culture and sights
- Filialkirche St. Peter and Paul : The Catholic Filialkirche St. Peter and Paul is a baroque hall building with a choir tower and attached sacristy from 1725, which was a replacement for an older church building. The tower dates from the first half of the 15th century. The church has always been a branch church of the parish of St. Margareth in Margarethenried .
