Sigfrid Öberg
Sigfrid Emil Öberg (born February 22, 1907 in Stockholm ; † April 2, 1949 there ) was a Swedish ice hockey player .
Career
At club level, Sigfrid Öberg only played for Hammarby IF in his hometown . From 1925 to 1937 he competed with his team in the Swedish championship . In 1932, 1933, 1936 and 1937 he won the national championship title with Hammarby IF.
International
For Sweden , Öberg took part in the 1928 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz , where he and his team won the silver medal. As the best European team at the Winter Olympics, he and his team won the European championship. At the European Championships in 1932 , he won the gold medal with his team. He also represented his country at the 1931 World Cup .
