Sigismund Droese

Sigismund Droese (born July 14, 1822 in Ragnit ; † April 23, 1891 in Königsberg (Prussia) ) was a German judge and parliamentarian.

Life

Sigismund Droese studied law at the Albertus University in Königsberg . In 1842 he became a member of the Corps Littuania . After completing his studies, he pursued a career as a judge. In 1859 he became a district judge in Tilsit . In 1873 he was appointed district court director in Lötzen . After 1879 he became a district judge in Lyck . Most recently he lived as a district judge a. D. in Koenigsberg .

From 1873 to 1879 Droese sat for the constituency Gumbinnen 1 (Tilsit, Niederung) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the German Progressive Party .
