Sigmund Moosauer
Sigmund Moosauer (born March 13, 1877 in Dingolfing ; † April 20, 1944 in Berlin ) was a German doctor and medical officer.
Life
Moosauer studied medicine at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and became active in the Corps Ratisbonia Munich in 1898 . Most recently he was from 1 January 1928 to 31 December 1939 at the rank of Admiral Medical Corps medical chief of the Navy and then the first medical chief of the Navy and Chief of Marinemedizinalamtes. On April 11, 1939, he received an honorary professorship from the Friedrich Wilhelms University in Berlin . Alfred Fikentscher succeeded Moosauer as head of medical services in the Navy .
