Aas, who started for the Strindheim IL , ran her first race in the Continental Cup in Rumford in January 2003 and came in 13th place over 15 km classic. In the classic 5 km race, she took third place there. In January 2004 she won the Continental Cup in Mt. Itasca over 5 km freestyle. She made her debut in the World Cup in February 2004 in Stockholm , which she finished in 33rd place in the sprint. In the same month in Drammen she got her first World Cup points at the third World Cup start with 28th place in the sprint. In the 2006/07 season she reached eighth place in the overall ranking of the Scandinavian Cup with four top ten placements . In the World Cup, she achieved 64th place in the overall World Cup and 35th place in the Sprint World Cup with three placements in the points. In March 2007 she achieved her best result in the individual World Cup with 13th place in the sprint in Drammen. In December 2007 she won the sprint at the FIS race in Gålå . In the 2007/08 season she managed the 15th and in the 2008/09 season the 11th place in the overall ranking of the Scandinavian Cup. She completed her 21st and last World Cup race in March 2009 in Trondheim , which she finished in 21st place in the sprint.
