Life

Curmann studied art history and architecture in Stockholm. Many Swedish churches followed, such as the Varnhem Monastery Church and the Vreta Monastery . This work resulted in numerous publications such as several volumes by Sveriges kyrkor.

Curman was admitted to the Kungliga Vitterhets Historie och Antikvitets Academies in 1923 and to the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in 1925 .
