The Silver Lake is an artificial (from a sandy hollow -scale) Stretch west of the market town Calvörde in the district Borde in Saxony-Anhalt located.
The Silbersee is a fishing water and is managed by a fishing association . The lake now contains eels , perch , pike and carp . With an area of 2.00 hectares, it is one of the smallest fishing waters in Saxony-Anhalt.
To the north of the Silbersee lies the Wegenstedter pond and the Strahlberg . To the east lies Calvörde and south of Silbersee you can see the Mörderberg .
