social commitment

Silent Seven has already held two benefit concerts in the town church of Biedenkopf , the entire proceeds of which went to the Silbermond band's “Help fans” project and thus, among other things, to the earthquake victims in Haiti . In 2010, the project benefited from the concert € 3,700, in 2011 it was € 4,500. In addition to this supraregional commitment, the band campaigned for children suffering from cancer in Central Hesse in April 2012: They auctioned a large signed poster, the proceeds of which went to the children's cancer ward of the University Clinic Gießen and Marburg . Part of the proceeds from the single “Roxanne” goes to ECPAT Germany, in keeping with the theme of the song. The band organized their benefit unplugged concert in November 2013 for Rea Garvey's “Saving an Angel” foundation and donated € 4,500. In January 2016 the five musicians from Silent Seven also gave a benefit concert in Bad Berleburg , which was intended as a concert between locals and refugees to set an example against right-wing violence. Also in 2016, the band played three charity acoustic concerts in the social institutions Children's Home Burbach, Kerstin-Heim Marburg and the Leppermühle Gießen-Buseck.
