Silke Biendel

Silke Biendel (born January 23, 1969 in Saarbrücken ) is a German politician and a member of the SPD . Between 2009 and 2012 she was a member of the Saarland state parliament .

education and profession

In 1988, Biendel passed her technical college entrance qualification at a commercial college and then began training as an office clerk at the Arbeiterwohlfahrt (AWO). After completing her training, Biendel worked from 1990 to 1996 as an administrative clerk in the senior citizens' center of AWO Sulzbach / Saar . In 1997, after two years of additional training at the Academy for Business and Corporate Management, she received state recognition as a business economist . From 1996 to 2006, Biendel worked in the administrative management of the AWO senior center in Sulzbach. Since 2006 she has been the administrative director for the senior centers in St. Ingbert , Bexbach and Sulzbach.

Political party

Silke Biendel has been a member of the SPD since 1997. In 1999 Biendel became a member of the Sulzbach city council. Since 2000 she has been chairwoman of the Working Group of Social Democratic Women (AsF) in Sulzbach and since 2006 a member of the AsF's regional board. In the state elections in Saarland in 2009, Biendel entered the state parliament via the state list. With the early state elections on March 25, 2012 , she left the state parliament.
