Silke Frankl (born May 29, 1970 in Mannheim ) is a German former tennis player .

Career

Frankl reached her highest position in the individual world rankings on August 15, 1994 with position 67. The 127th place, dated March 2, 1992, was her best classification in the double ranking. She took part in Grand Slam tournaments several times and made it to the 3rd round at the French Open in 1993 and repeated this success at Wimbledon in 1994. In 1989 she was German champion.
