Silke Hinrichsen

Silke Hinrichsen (born February 5, 1957 in Flensburg ; † March 8, 2012 ) was a German politician ( SSW ) of the Danish minority in Schleswig-Holstein .

Life

education and profession

Shortly after their birth in Flensburg, the family moved to Leck , where they grew up with three siblings. In 1976 she graduated from the Friedrich Paulsen School in Niebüll . This was followed by a degree in law at the University of Copenhagen , which she continued at the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel . In 1982 she passed the first state examination and in 1985 the second state examination. In 1986 she settled as an independent lawyer in Flensburg and founded a law firm together with a fellow student . In the further course of her career, Hinrichsen specialized in family law. She died on March 8, 2012 after a serious illness.

Political career

In 1975 Hinrichsen joined the SSW . Until 2009 she was a member of the State Executive Committee of the SSW.

From 1988 she became active in local politics. From 1990 to 2000 Hinrichsen was a council member in Flensburg and during this time acted as parliamentary group leader from 1996 to 1998. From 2000 to 2005 she was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament . In 2005 she failed to move in again because the SSW only had two seats instead of the previous three. From 2009 until her death, she was again a member of the Schleswig-Holstein State Parliament as deputy parliamentary group leader and member of the Interior and Legal Committee.
