The Silver Shadow is a cruise ship operated by Silversea Cruises based in Monaco. It was in 2000 in Italy ( Donada ) in the shipyard built Cantieri Navali Visentini and flying the flag of the Bahamas with home port Nassau .
A year later, a sister ship was completed and christened the Silver Whisper .
Seven of the ten decks are available to passengers. The 184 cabins (two of which are handicapped accessible) are all called "suites" by the shipping company. There are two restaurants, a theater and a swimming pool. The language on board is English.
