Silverbeek and the Lüttelforster Mühle 1777

Silverbeek is a district of the municipality of Niederkrüchten in the district of Viersen on the left Lower Rhine and is located halfway between Niederkrüchten and Tetelrath in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia on the state road L 126 . It consists of the streets “An der Schanz”, “Kamper Weg” and “Steinstraße”. Silverbeek got its name from the stream of the same name, which flows along the Steinstrasse and the Kamper Weg and finally flows into the Schwalm .

Together with the neighboring districts of Varbrook, Rhyth and Blonderath, Silverbeek forms the St. Brigitta Brotherhood. The traditional shooting festival is celebrated every two years. The St. Brigitta Brotherhood alternates with organizing the Schützenfest in the annual rhythm with Niederkrüchten (St. Antonius Brotherhood).
