Silverdale is a place ( census-designated place ) on the Kitsap Peninsula in Kitsap County in the US state of Washington with 19,204 inhabitants (as of 2010) . It lies between the largest city of Bremerton County in the south and Poulsbo in the north and is only separated from Seattle , the largest city in the state, by Bainbridge Island and Puget Sound to the east .
There is a student exchange with the Otto Hahn Gymnasium in Tuttlingen.
